Despite five new cases recorded in the Greater Bendigo region, the total number of active cases has dropped to 56 in the last 24 hours.
The new cases take the region's total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic began to 946.
Mount Alexander Shire also recorded zero news cases, but the total active cases have dropped to 12.
The Macedon Ranges has recorded six new cases and now has 46 active cases in total.
The Campaspe Shire has recorded an additional new case in the last 24 hours.

Victoria has again recorded more than 1,000 new cases of coronavirus, keeping the states active cases just above 11,000 at 11,051.
There were 8,433 vaccinations administered at state-run clinics in the last 24 for hours, roughly 5,000 more than the day before.
Sadly, six people died.
Eighty Victorians are in the ICU and 44 are on ventilators.
There were more than 54,467 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
As of Monday, the Greater Bendigo region recorded nine new cases, taking the areas total active cases to 65.
In a note to customers, the Epsom Post Office has closed its doors after a staff member tested positive to COVID-19 over the weekend.
"We have been advised a postal retail officer has tested positive to COVID-19," the note said.
"The officer was infectious Thursday, December 9 and Friday, December 10.
"With this information, Epsom LPO has to be closed and mail delivery suspended."
It continued to say all staff had been asked to get tested and return to work once they received a negative result.
The post office said all staff were double vaccinated.
