The man injured in the explosion is aged in his 30s and has been taken to hospital for burns, Ambulance Victoria has confirmed.
He has been taken to Bendigo Hospital in a stable condition.

A contractor was working on a piece of machinery at the City of Greater Bendigo's Adam Street depot when there was a "small explosion", the council has said in a statement.
"The contractor, a man, sustained injuries but was able to walk to the ambulance and has been taken to Bendigo Hospital," it said.
"The contractor was being supported by a spotter, who immediately provided assistance."
The council said that it was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.
It understood the contractor was working on a garbage truck when the incident occurred.
"WorkSafe has been notified. The City will cooperate fully to understand what has happened," the council said in the statement.
"Our thoughts are with the injured contractor and we wish him a speedy recovery."
WorkSafe has independently confirmed that it will investigate the explosion, which happened roughly an hour ago.

The CFA was notified at 3:56pm to reports of an explosion as a result of welding, a spokesperson has confirmed.
"On arrival, crews found one male with injuries who was treated by Ambulance Victoria," they said.
The spokesperson said the incident was declared under control at 4:16pm.
"Two vehicles from Golden Square brigade were on scene with support from FRV," the spokesperson said.
The State Emergency Service has confirmed the incident did not involve its volunteers, who have a station close to the site of the incident.
Four members of Fire Rescue Victoria attended to support CFA crews.
4.23pm
Paramedics are currently treating one patient after an incident in Golden Square.
Ambulance Victoria was called to the scene just before 3.55pm.
An eyewitness has confirmed CFA is on scene and paramedics are treating the patient - a man - with burns.
Earlier
Ambulance Victoria and Bendigo Police are currently on scene after an incident occurred at Adam St, Golden Square.
The incident occurred around 3.50pm on Monday afternoon.

It is unclear what damage has occurred and if there have been any injuries due to the incident.
The incident occurred at the council depot.
