Acting inspector Peter Johnston said police were happy with how protesters conducted themselves at Rosalind Park on Suday morning.
He said significant police numbers were in attendance but that the protesters didn't impact on anyone.
"As best we could calculate there were only about 40 attendees at the rally," Acting inspector Peter Johnston. "They had a couple speeches, they didn't march or impact on anyone else. There were no concerns at all with how they conducted themselves."
Acting inspector Johnston said no public orders were issues and no arrests of confrontations with police were reported.
"We have no issue with people's right to demonstrate as long as it is done in the right way," he said. "We are always happy to help facilitate (demonstrations)."

A Victoria Police spokesperson said extra members were made available following the anti-vaccination protest in Ballarat last week.
"We weren't sure on what numbers to expect," the spokesperson said. "Ballarat had between 500 and 1000 people and we had to base (our planning) on that we could get similar numbers."
In Victoria there were more than 1000 coronavirus cases recorded on Saturday as authorities address three cases of the Omicron variant.
