
Emu Creek has coaxed star batter Jeremy Brown out of retirement for its clash with Mandurang in the EVCA on Saturday.
The former Carlton and Eaglehawk star has only played four games over the past two years, but he's been named to return to the Emu Creek side to play a Mandurang side fresh from an upset win over Spring Gully.

The key to Emu Creek's success this year has been Jeremy's brother - Todd Brown. In two games this season Todd has made 69 and 93 to guide his side to victory.
Mandurang's bowlers were the catalyst for the win over Spring Gully and they'll need to be their best again on Saturday to contain Emu Creek.
Most seasons, a Sedgwick versus Spring Gully clash would be one of the highlights of the summer.
It doesn't shape up that way this year.

Sedgwick is winless on the bottom of the table, while Spring Gully is in second place on the ladder and eager to bounce straight back from the loss to Mandurang.
On form, it's hard to see the Rams getting close to the Crows.
United should have too much class and depth for West Bendigo at Ewing Park.
Prior to the bye last week, United had an ominous look about it, particularly with the bat.
In the final game of the round, Axe Creek will chase its second win in a row when it hosts ladder leader Marong.
Axe Creek stunned the league by defeating Sedgwick last Saturday. If the home side's bowlers can continue their good form, there's no reason why they can't give the Panthers a scare.
