
Bendigo professional golfer Andrew Martin has secured a spot in the weekend field at the Victorian PGA Championship.
Martin carded opening rounds of 68 and 72 at Moonah Links to head into the weekend at four-under par and T13 on the leaderboard.

On day one Martin carded a four-under 68 with nine pars, five birdies, one eagle and three bogeys.
He had another mixed round on Friday with nine pars, five birdies, three bogeys and one double.
Martin will start the weekend eight shots off the Friday afternoon leader Bradley Kivimets (-12)
Close behind Kivimets is Michael Sim (-10) followed by defending champion Christopher Wood (-8).
The $137,500 tournament has attracted players from across the country and marks the official PGA Australia summer of golf.
Following the tournament at Moonah Links, players will head to Gippsland for next week's Super 6 tournament at Warragul Country Club.
