The 17-year-old hadn't won a race in her first 10 starts, but then showed top form with two victories on the same night.
First up was a win onboard Harts Last, trained by her uncle Kent Harpley, at Maryborough before she then hit the road to Ballarat where she backed up with the Jess Hubbs trained Cherokee Joe.
"Honestly, it was all a bit surreal," Youl said.
"I knew they were both winning chances and had good form but I certainly didn't expect two winners.
"It was all too good to be true."
SPORT NEWS:
In the first race at Maryborough Youl finished seven metres in front of Keayang Remi and Tex Goes Bang.
Over at Ballarat in the final race of the night - the Boltons Office National Pace - Youl won by around half a length in front of Toby Ogara and Wyattfllyn in third.
Youl made her debut as a driver earlier this year and never did she imagine to already have two wins to her name.
"It's a great feeling but at the same time you come back down to earth quite quickly as the next race approaches."
In Friday night's race at Lords Raceway she will again drive one of her uncles horses - Jennys Favourite.
As it stands they head into the race as the favourite at $4.20 in front of Tiara Stride ($5.50) and Im Miss Royalty ($6).
Other major races on the night include the $20,000 Gavin Lang Aldebaran Park 2YO Trotting Mile (Group 3) with favourite Plymouth Chubb ($1.10), Keayang Chucky ($7) and Courage Stride ($8.50) as the current top three.
Also in action at Bendigo is Rod Lakey who will drive the $3.20 favourite Partytime in the second race of the night.
Wins aside, more than anything Youl is trying to soak up as much experience as possible and learn everything she can from each race.
Youl might be new to the winner's circle, but has been surrounded by the sport from a young age thanks to her uncle.
"I've been going to race meets with Kent for as long as I can remember," she said.
"When I was about 10 I started jogging horses and over the years I started to get involved anyway I could.
"I started liking it more and more so I decided to have a crack at driving."
Friday night racing at Lords Raceway starts at 6.33pm with the last event at 11pm.
