Stepien, who made the move to Tasmania earlier this year to join Clarence Cricket Club, has been in Victoria playing practice matches with the Melbourne Renegades.
He played for his old Victorian Premier Cricket Club Carlton last Saturday and welcomed the opportunity to return to Bendigo to sneak in a game with his mates at White Hills.
"I always love coming back to White Hills to play,'' Stepien said.
"It's good to have a laugh with the boys and have some fun.
"It will be good to get out on the QEO and have a run."

A wet start to the season in Tasmania means Stepien has played limited club cricket.
He showed his class for Carlton on Saturday by making 57 off 65 balls in the Blues win over Ringwood.
"It was good to get some time in the middle,'' Stepein said.
"It's been frustrating in Tassie with the weather, so it was nice to face a few balls and get a few out of the middle."
Stepien is an assistant coach at his new club Clarence and, weather aside, he's loving his time in the Apple Isle.
"Hobart has a country vibe to it...which I enjoy,'' Stepien said. "The people are fantastic and I'm really enjoying my time at Clarence. It's a great club."
Kangaroo Flat has also added a quality signing as its marquee player.
Hard-hitting Victorian Country representative Cam Williams will bolster the Roos' batting line-up.
From Warrnambool, Williams made 76 off 53 balls for his club team Russell's Creek last Saturday and made a century in round one.
Williams is also a high quality wicket-keeper.
Thursday night's game between the Demons and Roos starts at 6pm at the QEO.
