GREATER Bendigo's COVID-19 case numbers have climbed by nine, new Department of Health figures suggest.
The cases are part of a revised figure of 129 cases in the municipality.
Bendigo's 3550 postcode recorded another three cases, Kangaroo Flat's 3555 had one, and the regional 3551 area had four.
Heathcote's 3523 postcode recorded one case as well.
It is unclear whether Bendigo's case numbers will continue to climb now that an outbreak linked to White Hills' Holy Rosary Primary School is no longer the largest cluster in the state.
At times this week, nearly 50 cases were linked to the outbreak, as shown in this graph showing top clusters from Wednesday.
Below is a breakdown of every active case linked to a cluster on Wednesday (you may need to scroll down past an advertisement depending on what sort of device you are reading this story on - but read that too! Their support helps make our journalism possible).
Since then, the Holy Rosary PS's case numbers have fallen to 26.
The cluster is now the 13th largest in Victoria.
Bendigo's overall case numbers fell by 24 in figures released on Friday.
The number of new cases added in the last four days has been in the single digits in a slowing of COVID-19's spread through the municipality.
