The Redbacks could hardly have been more impressive in demolishing Sandhurst by nine wickets.
Bendigo United needed just 8.3 overs with the bat to chase down Sandhurst's score of 9-84.
The star with the bat for the Redbacks was Clayton Holmes.
The aggressive right-hander signalled his intention by hitting the first two balls of the innings to the boundary.
He scored 24 runs off the first 10 balls he faced and eventually reached his 50 off just 26 deliveries.
Holmes didn't stop there. After reaching his half-century, his next six deliveries were four, four, leg-bye, four, two and a six to complete the rout.
His masterclass concluded on 70 not out off 32 balls, including eight fours and three sixes.
Earlier in the night, the Redbacks' bowlers gave Sandhurst's batsmen little to hit.
Only three Sandhurst players - Zac Sims (20), marquee player Darby Semmens (19) and Nick Walsh (12) reached double-figures in a disappointing start to the competition.
Spinner Jake Thrum (2-7) and medium-pacer Jayden Templeton (2-14) were the pick of the bowlers for the Redbacks.
Next week in the T20 league, Huntly-North Epsom plays Bendigo at the QEO on Wednesday night, while Kangaroo Flat tackles White Hills at the QEO on Thursday night.
Bendigo United's next match is against Bendigo at the QEO on December 16, while Sandhurst plays Strathdale-Maristians at the QEO on December 15.
