Tigers received the 2021 AFL Victoria Community Award for club inclusion as acknowledgement for their work within the disability and LGBTQIA+ space.
"The club is extremely proud to win an award like this with the path we're on," president Hayden Evans said.
We want to do everything to engage everyone in the community and that means putting in resources.

"We want to be a 'one club' town, and to do that, you have to engage everyone."
The awards ceremony highlighted the incredible work that clubs do across the state to help build and grow a more inclusive and sustainable grassroots sports environment.
Work by KFNC includes partnering with the Macedon Ranges Shire Council to field a FIDA team, which provided several players with ease of access as the closest prior team was more than an hour drive away.

Another key event the Tigers were recognised for was the running of the Pride Cup in May alongside Eaglehawk Football Netball Club.
In attendance was Carlton AFLW player Darcy Vesio who spoke about the importance of equality and fairness within club environments.
Now that the end of the year is fast-approaching, the Tigers have their eyes firmly set on returning stronger than ever in 2022 across multiple competitions.
A key priority is to get underway with senior women's football trials, with come and try days planned on December 8 and 15.

KFNC women's football director Eloise Forbes said the senior team continued to grow each season.
"The team has been going from strength to strength in the last couple of years in spite of pandemic disruptions," Forbes said.
"We definitely see our team not only living, but really driving those values around inclusion - so if you're 16 or over and want to be part of a great group of players of all levels of experience, come along to a session or get in touch for a chat".
