The 2021 TPS Sydney winner is teeing up on Thursday in the Asian Tour's Laguna Phuket Championship.
The inaugural tournament comes one week after the tour's return to action following nearly 20 months of no events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After missing the cut by one stroke last week at the Blue Canyon Championship, Martin will be eager to return to form when he tees up in round one on Thursday alongside Peradol Panyathanasedh and Woohyun Kim.
Fellow Australians in the field include Evan Burford, Scott Hend, Wade Ormsby, Travis Smyth, Jake Higginbottom, Josh Younger, Will Heffernan, Cory Crawford, Ben Eccles, Kevin Yuan and Sam Brazel.
The course this week at Laguna Phuket Golf Club underwent an extensive redesign in 2014 which saw more than 60 bunkers removed to make it more sustainable.
At approximately 6000m in length, the expectation is there will be plenty of low scores this week.
It's the final event on the Asian Tour schedule for 2021 and will see Australian Ormsby head into the competition atop the order of merit standings.
Players will be eager to put on strong performance to lock a spot within the top-30 on the OOM which secures a start in next year's Saudi International which has a $7M AUD prize pool on offer.
Before the event in Saudi, there will be back-to-back Asian Tour tournaments in Singapore.
