However, the star player from Bendigo said the team couldn't be prouder of its effort.
In the grand final on Sunday, the Dons started on the back foot after the Magpies got off to a flying start.
"We started off really slow but we've been in that situation a few times this season, we just focused on what we wanted to do and played possession football," Logan said.
After a comeback from the Dons, the scores were near level at half-time, with the Pies just in front 4.4 (28) over 4.2 (26).
During the second half the Bombers remained within striking distance, with the scores tied with 90 seconds left to play.
However, a last-minute goal from Collingwood sealed the tournament, 9.5 (59) over 8.6 (54).
Collingwood dedicated the win to former coach and teammate Brendan Stroud who recently passed away.
