LAST season's under-17 track champion, Nate Hadden reigned supreme in the Bendigo Cycles Wheelrace at the latest round of Bendigo and District Cycling Club track racing.

Hadden started from near the rear of the field in the 2000m event which was proudly sponsored by Paul and Jo Lythgo.
The talented teenager worked extremely hard to win a hard-fought contest in Thursday night's cool and blustery conditions at the Tom Flood Sports Centre in Barnard Street.
Runner-up was Emerson Julian as Harrison Knight and Zaran Fong-Sutton fought to be in the placings.
Seniors racing began with the DCK Real Estate-sponsored Crystal Classic women's wheelrace.
The in-form Madeleine Douglas took out the 1000m contest from Charlie Gartside and the powerful Alessia McCaig who began off scratch.
Another of the state's top riders, Cameron Rogers won the A-grade 10-lap scratch race and later the 12-lap points score.

Placegetters in the main event, Emerson Julian and Zaran Fong-Sutton marked a winning double.
The B-grade scratch and points score were taken out by Julian, and the feat was matched by Fong-Sutton in the C-grade scratch and points score events.
The under 11-13 600m handicap was a Larson double as Heidi charged to the line ahead of Corey, as Tobias Jelbart raced off scratch and was third.
Winner of the 1200m wheelrace for under 15-17 was Jacob Larson from Lilyth Jones and Madeleine Douglas.
Track racing is on this Thursday at the Tom Flood Sports Centre.
Junior racing begins at 6.30pm.
Feature event for seniors is the Sens Jewellers Wheelrace (1600m).
