The fire authority hopes for a new shed complete with a new motor room to store a fire truck in, along with space for breathing apparatuses, storage and turnout area.
One tree would need to be removed to make way for the new shed.
The 90.44 square metre extension would cost an estimated $100,000, according to planning documents.

The council is currently considering the application.
The CFA has also asked the council's permission to build a completely new station for its Golden Square brigade.
The brigade has outgrown its current High Street premises and needs more space.
The CFA hopes to get permission to build a new station at Specimen Hill Road, Golden Square.
