The All Breeds Show Society hosted its three-day event at the Bendigo Showgrounds after more than a year of COVID-19 lockdowns.
Jesse Egan, the state delegate of Australian Miniature Horse Society, said it was exciting to have events back up and running.
"Previously, we've had shows every week or every second week," Mr Egan said. "It's been a year-and-a-half or two years since we've had them.
"We've had three shows in a row now so hopefully we have a straight run through to March."
On Saturday alone, there were about 400 separate entries for the Bendigo event.
One of those entries was Mr Egan's Palomino Filly Muskoka, who took out a number of titles including the Overall Supreme in the Miniature/Little Horse class.
"It was really good," Mr Egan said. "Most people are just happy to win one so to have five in a couple of days was great."
Mr Egan said all of the participants and onlookers at the Bendigo event were complying with COVID protocols including QR codes and vaccination requirements.
"It's paramount because otherwise we will have to close all of the shows down again if we have a flare up," he said.
Mr Egan said anyone interested in learning more about miniature horses or who wanted to get involved in the shows should visit amhs.com.au
