An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson has said the man was in stable condition after his car crashed into a friend's home on Friday morning.
They said the man sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bendigo Base Hospital for treatment after being freed from his car.
A tow truck was used to remove the car from the house at 11.30am and SES crews looked over the home and the damage caused.
Police inspected the vehicle before it was taken away.

A red sedan has crashed into an Eaglehawk home, injuring one person on Friday morning.
The Kangaroo Flat driver - an 86 year old male - was on his way to visit a friend when the vehicle went through the front of the home about 10.45am.

Home at the time of the incident, the occupant of the Leslie Street home was uninjured.
A spokesperson from Bendigo Police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
They believe it was either a medical episode or the driver mistook the accelerator for the brake.
Ambulance Victoria is treating the driver now for injuries and he will be sent to Bendigo Hospital for further examination.
Once the scene is cleared, SES units will remove the car from the house so council can weatherproof it, and damage to the property can be assessed.
