The club recently announced its junior squad and coaching lineups for the 2021-22 season.
Bendigo Basketball director of coaching and athlete development Joe Hurst said it was a big task to appoint players to the club's various teams.
"The squads are finalised and now we're going through the process of receiving feedback," he said.
"This allows players to receive feedback on why they landed within certain teams and also what they're able to do to ensure they can make the cut next time around."
Because of the slightly later start to announcing the teams, the focus is now on getting the squads at training sessions as soon as possible ahead of several tournaments in the coming months.
"We will get them training immediately," Hurst said.
"We're especially in a hurry with our Victorian Junior Basketball League teams as they start next month and there's very little time before they will need to be in full competition mode."

Also on the cards is the Bendigo Junior Classic, one of the biggest tournaments in the state which is usually held over the Australia Day long weekend at the Stadium.
Before the event the plan is to give the juniors time on court with practice tournaments to be conducted with fellow regional basketball associations.
"It's ideal to have some practice round-robin style tournaments as a way for the players to get back up to game speed," Hurst said.
After the extended period off the court, Hurst said it was clear which juniors maintained their skills during lockdown.
"It definitely shows who was working hard at home, on our online sessions and doing extra exercise to stay in good condition," he said.
"Dedication sets the foundation for them to continue on an elite pathway as they understand what it takes to perform at a high standard at such a young age.
"Overall the kids and coaches are fired up and ready to get moving."
