Xavier Crone's first trip to the batting crease at Sheffield Shield level didn't go as well as his bowling effort.
Batting at number eight, the 23-year-old was dismissed for a duck in Victoria's first innings of 271 against New South Wales at the SCG.
Crone edged the eighth ball of his innings to wicket-keeper Peter Nevill off the bowling of left-arm quick Hayden Kerr.
