
A big partnership between Sarah Mannes and Paige Conder set up Golden Square's first win of the BDCA women's competition.
Mannes and Conder added 93 for the second wicket in Square's total of 135 against Strathdale-Maristians at Beischer Park.

Mannes blasted seven fours in her score of 53 off 39 balls, while Conder hit five fours in her run-a-ball 37.
Meg O'Callaghan did a great job with the ball for Strathdale. The opening bowler claimed 3-15.
After batting well, Conder played a major role with the new ball.
She took two early wickets to put Strathdale on the back foot.
A fine 74-run stand for the fourth wicket between Ellena Findlay and Erin Stewart put the Suns back in the game.
However, when Findlay was run out for 27 off 33 balls, the Suns faint hopes were dashed.
Stewart top-scored for the Suns with 37 not out off 45 balls in the home side's tally of 6-112 off 25 overs.
Conder (2-18) was the most successful bowler for Square, while Mannes (1-8 off four overs) also played a crucial role with the ball.
Sandhurst stamped itself as the team to beat after it thrashed reigning premier Kangaroo Flat.
The Dragons bowled the Roos out for just 45 inside 13 overs at Club Court.
The Roos made a bright start to be 0-30, but once openers Stephanie Wearne (19) and Sarah Perry (11) fell the innings fell apart.
The Roos lost 10-15, with six of the seven Sandhurst bowlers taking a wicket, while Flat wasn't helped by a couple of run outs.
In reply, Sandhurst overcame the loss of a couple of early wickets to pass the total with eight overs to spare.
Amanda O'Neill made 25 not out off 21 balls to lead the Dragons home.

The Bendigo Goers defeated California Gully by 16 runs in a high-scoring game at Shadforth Park.

Emma Windridge led the charge for the Goers with 47 off 36 balls, including three fours and three sixes.
Tina Benoit (22), Kylie Ross (22) and Brittany Mueck (21) all made valuable contributions with the bat.
Melissa Freestone (3-16) was the pick of the Cobras' bowlers.
Hannah Kenny paced Cal Gully's reply with a fine 43.
Her innings wasn't quite enough to get the Cobras over the line and Cal Gully finished 6-139.

Rachael Gray (2-20) bowled impressively for the Goers.
West Bendigo thumped Strathdale-Maristians Suns by 85 runs.
Madison Cleeland (27 not out) and Katelyn Williams (20 not out) hit eight boundaries between them in the Redbacks' score of 3-139 off 25 overs.
The Suns' cause wasn't helped by 51 extras, including 19 no-balls and 15 wides.
West Bendigo opening bowlers Arielle Glatte (3-11) and Taylah Murphy (2-15) did the job with the new ball as the Suns crashed to be all out for 54.
Skipper Rylie Bell top-scored with 14 for Strathdale.

In the final game of the round, Bendigo thrashed Strathfieldsaye by 110 runs.
Bendigo bowled out Strathfieldsaye for 48 thanks to fine spells from Maddy Best (3-5) and Ella Griffin (2-6).
Bendigo shared the load with the bat and compiled 1-158 off 25 overs.
Letesha Bawden (22 retired), Holly Ryan (17 retired) and Stephanie Demeo (16 not out) led the way in a score that included 51 extras.
