Weeroona College Bendigo and St Therese's students put themselves to the test this week with human-powered vehicle challenges.
Each school held independent events where students set themselves a goal to achieve whether it be race distance or fundraising for charity.
WCB students commenced the 24-hour Survival of the Fittest challenge on Thursday and raced for 12 hours before returning on Friday for another 12-hour stint.
Meanwhile, St Therese's students set themselves an 800km total distance challenge which commenced on Friday morning at the Bendigo Saleyards.
Bendigo Advertiser photographer Darren Howe attended both race meets to capture the action.
