Students were able to move their exhibition off-campus for all parents and families to see.
Havilah Road preschool teacher Gail Dwyer said COVID-19 restrictions didn't stop the preschool this time around.
"Usually we have a big art show where parents and families are invited to come along and we have a sausage sizzle, face painting, but because of COVID we haven't been able to do things the same way," she said.
"It's a shame because it's a big event and our one and only fundraiser for the year for the kindergarten.
"But this year, we've called it street art and we had all the children's artwork hanging on the fence for the parents to come and look from the street side."
Ms Dwyer said it was important for this cohort to to have something to look forward to.
Other stories:
"It's a way of ensuring the students of 2021 aren't missing out on all the festivities that we do each year," she said.
"We're not going to stop because COVID is around, we're allowing the children to have some normality in their lives."
A number of parents said they were very impressed with the event when they left nice notes for staff at the preschool.
"The paintings are incredible. Well done to all the children for their hard work you put into your display," one wrote.
"Absolutely wonderful and vibrant works of art - well done to all the kinder kids for their display," another said.
Funds raised through the raffle on the day are set to go towards resources for the children.
"In the past we've purchased a trampoline with the money raised, other years we've bought books and puzzles so we'll look for something fun to buy this time around," Ms Dwyer said.
The total amount raised will be announced in the coming week on the Havilah Road Preschool Facebook page.
