High Street traffic is flowing in both directions again, after emergency crews removed the fallen tree limb from the busy road.
Police remain on scene as the cleanup continues, with power yet to be restored to a small number of properties along High Street.
The Emergency Victoria has listed the incident as safe.
EARLIER
A SECTION of High Street in Golden Square is closed in both directions after a tree limb fell onto a vehicle.
Emergency services are currently on scene and police are re-directing traffic.
Bendigo highway patrol sergeant Geoff Annand said a large limb fell from a tree onto a section of High Street at 4.40pm on Saturday.
Both lanes are blocked between Maple Street and Beech Street.

Sergeant Annand said the fallen limb took down powerlines and snapped a power pole.
Powercore are currently on scene.
A 45-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl were in the vehicle which was travelling northbound at the time, they are both being treated for minor injuries.

It is unknown how long the road will be closed for.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to a report of an incident in Golden Square at approximately 4:35pm this afternoon.
Paramedics are on scene, but there are no further details at this stage.
