GREATER Bendigo has recorded three news cases of coronavirus overnight, taking the region's total 212.

The Campaspe Shire remained in double digits, recording 13 new cases and the Macedon Rangers recorded another four.
Three more cases were recorded in the Mount Alexander Shire and one more case was recorded in the Central Goldfields Shire.

ABOUT 85 per cent of the eligible Victorian population is now fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
It comes as another 10,358 vaccine doses were administered at state-run clinics on Wednesday, taking the total number of doses administrated to 4,737,369.
COVID-19 case numbers however remain steady, with the state recording another 1,313 cases overnight.
Sadly, there were another four deaths.
A total of 457 people are in hospital, 79 are in ICU and 48 of those are on a ventilator.
In the last 24 hours, over 67,000 test results have been received.
These numbers come as Bendigo businesses struggle with a chef shortage after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owner of Bendigo's Shamrock Hotel Ray Sharawara, who is an Australian Hotels Association spokesman, said about 100,000 chefs on migrant visas had left Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns.
"There is definitely a shortage of chefs - I can say that categorically,'' he said.
"They have gone home and they won't be coming back until the Federal Government loosens up the visa program. We need people to be allowed back into the country."
Union director for Hospo Voice, Karma Lord, said many people dropped out of the industry because they had missed out on government stimulus programs.
"The federal government's JobKeeper scheme left casual and migrant workers behind," he said.
Extreme casualisation in hospitality has led to rampant exploitation.
Employers need to offer permanent positions with decent wages if they want to find and hold onto workers moving forward.
Chefs want to be treated with respect and paid fairly for their hard work.
