A STRUCTURE fire in Carisbrook has been bought under control, a CFA spokesperson has confirmed.
The CFA were notified of the Potts Lane blaze - a chicken shed engulfed in flames and threatening the two sheds on either side - at 8.35am.
Units successfully bought the fire under control and a stop was put on the incident at 1.19pm.
"On arrival crews found one chicken shed approximately 100m by 30m fully alight, and two sheds on either side impacted with heat," a CFA spokesperson said.
"Crews undertook asset protection measures on the neighbouring sheds and successfully prevented the fire from spreading.
"Breathing Apparatus (BA) crews assisted with the main structure, however the shed was unable to be saved."
Seven CFA vehicles were on scene with support from FRV.

THE Bendigo Advertiser understands the Potts Lane fire occurred on property owned by Kinross Farms.
Aside from the three buildings impacted by the blaze, the damage to both property and livestock remains unclear.
CFA are still bringing the fire under control.
Kinross Farms has been contacted for comment about the incident.

The Carisbrook chicken shed fire is not yet under control, a CFA spokesperson confirmed.
On arrival the shed - approximately 100m by 30m - was fully alight.
TWO sheds on either side of the blaze were also impacted with heat, the spokesperson said.
Crews are currently undertaking asset protection measures on the neighbouring sheds to prevent damage and Breathing Apparatus crews are assisting with the main structure.
Presently, there are seven CFA vehicles on scene and FRV is providing support.
It is unknown how much damage has occurred and how much, if any, livestock has been lost.

CFA has released an alert saying it does not consider the Carisbrook building fire to be an immediate threat to the community.
Firefighters are still on the scene of the blaze and is not yet under control.
CFA has warned there will be smoke visible from nearby roads of the Potts Lane fire, but said no action from the community is necessary yet.
The building fire - a chicken shed - was reported to CFA at 8.35am Tuesday morning and is one of three buildings impacted by the blaze.
