TWO residents at Glanville Village aged care facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
Echuca Regional Health confirmed a COVID-19 outbreak had been declared in the village following the positive results.
"Rapid antigen testing of other residents and staff has not indicated further spread to date. Additional testing will be undertaken in accordance with outbreak management protocols," acting chief executive Glenn Howlett said in an email sent earlier this morning.
"An Outbreak Control Meeting was convened yesterday evening, involving LM Public Health Unit and State Commonwealth Health Department officials. ERH staff were commended for the actions that have been taken thus far in managing the outbreak."
Dr Howlett said the village would remain in lockdown until further notice.

GREATER Bendigo recorded 23 new cases of coronavirus overnight, taking the region's total to 221.
The Campaspe Shire also recorded a jump in cases with 16, taking their total of active cases 63.
It comes as Echuca Regional Health acting chief executive Glenn Howlett said two residents of an aged care facility in Echuca had tested positive for the virus.
The Bendigo Advertiser is still confirming which aged care facility the positive case is at.
"We are seeing increasing numbers of people testing positive for COVID in the Campaspe region, in particular in Echuca. This includes two residents of an aged care facility in Echuca," he said.
"With people moving around more freely we do expect to see increased prevalence in the community and it is important that people who are unwell have the supports they need."
Dr Howlett said if locals test positive, there are support services available.
"This virus can result in people getting sick very quickly so anyone who tests positive is monitored by a specialist health team via home monitoring," he said.

Earlier
VICTORIA has recorded 1,126 new cases of COVID-19 and another five deaths after a weekend when Bendigo's numbers remained stable.
A total of 556 are in hospital with the virus, 91 are in intensive care units and 54 are on ventilators.
There were 8,337 vaccinations administered and a further 44,000 were tested for the virus.
The numbers have been released after Greater Bendigo's active case total fell to 207.
That figure is yet to drop back below 200 after climbing to 250 a week-and-a-half ago but do appear to be stable even in an era of eased restrictions.
Greater Bendigo has averaged 15 new cases a day in the last two weeks.
The municipality has not had more than 30 in one day since October 23 - with the exception of 40 in the period covering last Tuesday.
But that followed a Monday when the municipality recorded just two cases, perhaps suggesting the department had held over some data or rectified a clerical error.
It has now been more than six weeks since Greater Bendigo registered its first case of the current outbreak.
