Big Hill Primary School has recorded two new positive COVID-19 cases in its community.
Principal Matt Pearce informed parents and families of the news on Thursday.
"We were advised of two additional COVID-19 cases, however, both cases were in isolation during their infectious period and are linked to the three cases advised on Tuesday - one linked to MIDDLE W and the other to SENIOR LR," he said.
"The new cases do not have to be contact-traced, as they have not been on site during their infectious periods, therefore are no risk to anyone on site.
"As always, local infections, particularly in our community, is a reminder to us all that COVID-19 is a reality and our children and staff are best protected with masks, good hygiene, vaccination (age 12 and above) and social distancing etc.
"Moving forward, please get tested if you or your child develop even the mildest of symptoms (or have been to an exposure site / identified as a PCC) and isolate until you have a negative result - just to be safe."

ANOTHER 1247 people have been added to the list of those diagnosed with COVID-19 in Victoria.
Sadly, there were nine more deaths, with a total of 114 Victorians in intensive care units and 78 on ventilators.
An extra 16,209 COVID-19 vaccinations were administered in Victoria.
About 81 per cent of Victorians over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, 50,180 test results have been received by Victorians.
The numbers come as another student from Bendigo Senior Secondary College tested positive to COVID-19.
In a letter to parents and families on Wednesday, principal Dale Pearce said the school had been contacting potential contacts.
"Contact identification is complete and we have contacted all potential primary close contacts who have been asked to stay home until further notice," the letter said.
"Fortunately the number of these contacts was very small.
"Our school will continue to be open for all other eligible students and staff on Thursday and we will continue to operate in line with the current advice from the Chief Health Officer."
Three central Victorian municipalities have reached the 90 per cent double dose threshold this week.
As of November 1, the Campaspe Shire has hit 90.4 per cent, Macedon Ranges has reached 93.5 per cent and the Buloke Shire has vaccinated 92.6 per cent of its population.
Buloke Shire mayor Daryl Warren said hitting the milestone was a great community effort.
"It's great to have the community all behind the ability to get fully vaccinated," he said.
"They've worked very hard to get there and our health services that have really pushed it have done an amazing job and we thank them for their hard work.
Cr Warren said while the municipality has yet to record a single COVID-19 case, he was certain the community would be safe if they were to come into contact.
