Echuca Regional Health has appointed a new interim chief executive after the departure of former leader Nick Bush in October.

Robyn Lindsay, who is currently the executive director of clinical operations at Bendigo Health, will take on the role and will hold the position for six months to allow the board to undertake recruitment for a new chief executive.
A physiotherapist by trade, she has worked for Bendigo Health since joining the organisation as a graduate and has held a number of roles including director of allied health and executive director of organisational development and Improvement.
She is also a member of the board at Girton Grammar and Be. Bendigo.
Bendigo Health chief executive Peter Faulkner said he was pleased to assist Echuca Regional Health by facilitating this secondment.
"Robyn Lindsay comes with a wealth of experience and understands the unique challenges and benefits that come with being a regional and rural health care provider," he said.
"We all need to work together to grow and retain a workforce with talented professionals who can take on leadership roles and this experience will benefit both Robyn and our health services by offering her a new experience.

Echuca Regional Health board chairperson Larna Tarrant said she looked forward to Ms Lindsay joining the team.
