ANOTHER student from Bendigo Senior Secondary College has tested positive to COVID-19, the school has said.
In a letter to parents and families on Wednesday, principal Dale Pearce said the school had been contacting potential contacts.
"Contact identification is complete and we have contacted all potential primary close contacts who have been asked to stay home until further notice," the letter said.
"Fortunately the number of these contacts was very small.
"Our school will continue to be open for all other eligible students and staff on Thursday and we will continue to operate in line with the current advice from the Chief Health Officer."

Bendigo Health has confirmed two people with COVID-19 are being treated in the hospital's intensive care unit.
These patients are of the nine currently in hospital on Wednesday with seven being treated in the respiratory ward.
There are 211 COVID-19 patients being monitored through the Hospital in the Home program.
There were 985 people tested for the virus through Bendigo Health on Tuesday.
Another 585 coronavirus vaccinations were administered in Greater Bendigo.

Greater Bendigo has recorded three new cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday.
The total number of active cases in the region now sits at 213.
According to Department of Health data, all three cases were recorded in the 3555 postcode.
The Macedon Ranges recorded six new cases, and the Campaspe and Mount Alexander shires recorded one new case each.

Another 941 people have been added to the list of those diagnosed with COVID-19 in Victoria.
Sadly, there were eight more deaths.
There were 9,440 vaccinations administered in Victoria on Tuesday. In total 4,635,918 COVID-19 vaccinations were administered in Victoria.
About 82 per cent of Victorians over the age of 16 are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, 63,278 test results have been received by Victorians.
There are now 657 people in hospital with COVID-19, 117 are in ICU and of those 69 are on a ventilator.
The numbers come as Spotlight Bendigo confirmed a number of COVID-19 positive cases attended the store in recent weeks.
In a sign on the door of the building, staff said they had been contacted by the Department of Health and Human Services.
"We have recently been informed by the DHHS that Spotlight Bendigo was a tier one exposure site," the letter said.

A case attended the store on Wednesday, October 20 between 9am and 4pm and on Monday October 25 between noon and 7pm.
"The DHHS has informed us that we have satisfied requirements to safely remain open," the sign continued.
"Our business has been deep cleaned, appropriate staff have been tested and close contacts exposed to coronavirus have been identified."
In a letter to parents and families, principal Matt Pearce confirmed the school had been contacted by the Department of Health on Tuesday.
"Today our school was advised that we have had confirmed cases of COVID-19 (all siblings) attend class on Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29," he said.
"For the purpose of isolation, we are calling Friday day zero.
"If your child was at school on either date, they have been exposed if attending the following classes: Middle Wendy, Middle Renae/Leisha and Senior Lauren/Roberta.
"Additional cleaning at school is routine every day, however, I have organised further attention to detail tonight before school returns on Wednesday."
