The 18-year-old man appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Tuesday after he was charged with offences including failing to stop, breaching bail, and dangerous driving.
Police alleged on the morning of October 7 this year, the man had a verbal argument with his sister and his sister's partner.

During the dispute, the man allegedly threatened to kill the other man before hitting a bin with a tyre iron.
The couple called the police and the 18-year-old drove away from the scene.
The court heard officers spotted the man driving along Lowndes Street in Kennington in his Holden Commodore.
Police alleged the man drove across a bike lane and into parking bays in an effort to avoid police.
The man allegedly was speeding in a 40km/h school zone where pedestrians were present.
Police alleged the 18-year-old was overtaking other vehicles and skidding the back tyres of his Commodore during the chase.
The court heard officers lost sight of the man as he drove off down Condon Street.
Police went to the home address of the man's mother and allegedly found the 18-year-old trying to hide his car in the backyard.
The man was arrested and charged. The court heard he was unlicensed at the time of the alleged offending.

Prosecutor Senior Constable Abdoullah Fakhouri told the court the man had outstanding driving charges in the Children's Court.
Defence lawyer Rebecca Heley said the 18-year-old should be granted bail because he was a young man with an intellectual disability who had already spent 25 days on remand.
Ms Heley said the man had available employment and stable accommodation with his mother.
The defence lawyer submitted the man now had a "lived experience" of the consequences of breaching bail so he would not reoffend.
Senior Constable Fakhouri said the prosecution's main concern was the protection of the community given the allegations of dangerous driving.
Magistrate Sharon McRae said the charges were very serious and the man did not have a good track record at complying with bail.
But Ms McRae said she would release the 18-year-old from custody on a series of strict bail conditions, including a 7pm to 6am curfew and an order to not drive a motor vehicle.
The man was released on bail. He is due to return to the Bendigo Magistrates' Court later this week.
