A WOMAN in her 30s is being treated at Bendigo Hospital following a crash in Pompapiel, north of Serpentine on Wednesday afternoon.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed paramedics responded to the incident just after 4pm.
After initially calling the air ambulance, the woman ended up being taken by road to Bendigo Health.
"The woman was in a stable condition with lower body injuries," the spokesperson said.
6.35pm
RESCUE crews have removed a female from a vehicle after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Pompapiel but the Advertiser is yet to confirm her condition.
Crews spent close to two hours working to extricate the female, whose age has also not yet been confirmed.
An air ambulance had earlier landed at the scene ready to transport the patient, who had lower body injuries.
Ambulance Victoria is yet to confirm whether the air ambulance has left the scene with the patient on board.

A FEMALE is expected to be flown to hospital with lower body injuries following the crash.
Paramedics remain at the scene of the incident.
Motorists are being urged to avoid Echuca-Serpentine Road and it is understood parts of the road may have been closed so that an air-ambulance could land.
The Advertiser is yet to confirm the condition of the person who is trapped, or her age.

AN SES crew is understood to be working to free a person trapped by the legs after a road incident.
The crew has been called up from Marong for the operation.
An air ambulance has landed at the scene but it is unclear what the extent of the person's injuries are.
The incident is taking place in Pompapiel, north of Serpentine.
Earlier
ONE PERSON is pinned by their legs after a vehicle crash north-east of Serpentine.
The incident is unfolding on Echuca-Serpentine Road and the car is understood to have left the road near the intersection with Kentishs Road.
Firefighters are on scene, along with police and paramedics.
The person is understood to be conscious and breathing.
The SES have been called but it is not clear whether they have arrived on scene yet.
