Another 55,000 were tested for the virus and 28,232 were vaccinated, new Department of Health data shows.
Sadly, four people died.
There are now 817 people in hospital with COVID-19, 147 are in ICU and of those, 88 are on a ventilator.
In Maryborough, contact tracers urged people to stay calm after the town's KMART was visited by a COVID-positive case.
The site however has not been officially listed as an exposure site by the Department of Health.

Two people currently have COVID-19 in the wider central Goldfields Shire and health authorities say that there was no need to panic even as people's anxiety levels rise in an area that has not seen high numbers of cases yet.
Bendigo Health has also moved to reassure people in areas like Greater Bendigo, which had 206 active cases on Monday in an outbreak that has spread quickly in recent weeks.
Greater Bendigo itself has now reached its 80 per cent vaccination target.
