While guests aren't allowed to be on campus for a graduation show, student Abigail Bayliss-O'Dowd and a group of others decided to take matters into their own hands.
"We are unable to have a public graduation show, which would usually be apart of the La Trobe Arts Festival so us students decided to exhibit some of our artwork around town," she said.
"The artworks at Exhibit B and the window space in the mall consist of pieces we have created over our last year of study."
Abigail said COVID-19 had had a severe impact on her visual arts course.
"All of our electives were unfortunately cut and studying a predominately practical degree online was really hard," she said.
"Our amazing lecturers and technicians worked so hard to provide a great online learning environment, drop off supplies if needed and encouraged regular check ins.
"Thankfully we were allowed back on campus to complete our work.
"Our student cohort is really close too and we all supported each other through the lockdowns so it means a lot to finally get to exhibit some of our work and finish our degree.

Abigail, along with Sara Hancock, Annelise Henderson, Emma Sherlock, Jacqueline Gilding, Annie Byrne, Alicia Collins, Abby Smith, Helena Read and Ella Krustin, will have a variety of works on display until November 15.
"In third year you get to choose your own concepts to explore. We work with a variety of mediums such as printmaking, painting, photography, multimedia works, digital drawing, sculpture and installation," Abigail said.
"We hope people can enjoy projecting their own meaning onto our work, enjoy viewing our creativity and maybe inspire someone to start studying at La Trobe or to make art."
