Natasha Thomas, Matt McFarlane, and little Aaron were supported by loved ones as they took part in Life's Little Treasures' Walk For Prems on Sunday morning.
It's a cause close to the family's heart because Aaron's brother Thomas passed away last year after he was born prematurely.
"We couldn't have done this journey without the support of our family," Ms Thomas said.
"Even though we were separated from them in the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit), just knowing they were there any time we needed to talk was great.

"The big thing was that everyone was rooting for them. Everyone was behind us and supporting us, but everyone was there for Aaron, there for Thomas."
The Bendigo family has raised more than $2000 for the foundation thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and colleagues.
"It's so nice to be able to help in some way after they helped us," Ms Thomas said.
The couple said the walk was also about recognising the amazing NICU doctors and nurses.
"They become part of your family on your journey," Mr McFarlane said. "Without them, Aaron wouldn't be here today."
