BENDIGO Health is advising that there is a longer than usual wait for COVID-19 test results due to the demand in testing.
"We understand this is an anxious time," a hospital spokesperson said in a Facebook post.
"If you have been waiting and think it has been too long, please do not come into the clinic. Our team does not release the results, they come from the ACL lab."
If anyone is waiting longer than usual for a result, contact the ACL Results line on 1300 134 111.

It comes after Greater Bendigo recorded 19 new cases on Saturday. There are now 170 active cases in the region.
COVID commander Jeroen Weimar confirmed 38 per cent of the total cases in regional Victoria were children under the age of 19.
Mr Weimar said while younger people were overrepresented in the COVID-19 case numbers, that was not reflected in the hospitalisation rates.
