The series has been in the works for over a year, but was unfortunately hindered due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
However, with summer and the end of lockdown looming, the series is ready to get into action.
BBA women's sub committee co-chair Daisy Pithie said the series would be launched with six come-and-try sessions.
"We will start with the basics to grasp where everyone is at, but no experience is required as we will have coaches helping out," she said.
"The best thing about baseball is it isn't physically demanding and our program is about having fun and meeting new people after everyone has been locked-down for the past 18 months."
The come-and-try sessions begin Thursday October 26, with further details and contact information available at https://www.facebook.com/bendigobaseball.
