
A probationary driver has had their licence suspended after they were allegedly speeding 40 km/h over the speed limit.
Police said a female red p-plater was intercepted on Tuesday, October 12 on the Calder Freeway in Woodend.

The driver was allegedly detected travelling at 145km/h in the 110km/h zone.
The female was issued an infringement notice suspending her probationary licence for six months and was coupled with a $682 fine.
Gisborne Police urge all drivers to slow down and take care on the road.
