BENDIGO Health is urging people to follow COVID-19 restrictions as case numbers in the regions rise.
A spokesperson said that while vaccination numbers were high in Greater Bendigo, cases continuing to increase was a concern.
"We are concerned by increasing numbers of people in Bendigo testing positive for COVID," they said.
"It is important that we all abide by the current restrictions, especially not visiting other households.
"Please practice COVID safe behaviour when you are out and about and try to limit unnecessary visits to public places such as supermarkets.
"We have wonderful vaccination rates which is worth celebrating and we are all looking forward to restrictions easing further so let's work together to keep Bendigo safe."
Bendigo Health confirmed as of Saturday, there were seven patients in the respiratory ward, four in ICU and 56 in their Hospital in the Home program.
