The association is intending to run a six-week competition at the Golden City Netball Association (GCNA) courts in West Bendigo, starting in early November.
Games will be played on Friday nights, with the BSNA hoping to play the first round of matches on November 5.
The format will incorporate an initial two weeks of learning and skills sessions mixed with match-play, followed by four weeks of matches.
The association, which was formed in 1969 as the Strathdale Netball Association, before a change of name to BSNA to reflect its wider Bendigo profile, will draw on the assistance of leading netball identities Carol Cathcart and Jayden Cowling to help with skills.
Plans for the competition followed on the heels of an all-boys netball clinic run in Bendigo in late September by Victoria men's netball representative Cowling, who coaches Kangaroo Flat in the Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) competition and was appointed coach of the BFNL's open and 17-and-under representative teams in 2021.
Nearly 30 boys registered for the clinic at the GCNA courts, with many of them expressing interest in playing in all-boys competition,
Cathcart - who will step down as AFL Central Victoria's region general manager in December after five years in the role - has enjoyed a long involvement in netball coaching from the community to the elite pathway level.
Teams and individuals can register their interest at the BSNA's website.
