The 25-year-old Crute (12-2) heads into the match against the 31-year-old Hill (8-1) on the back of an upset loss to Anthony Smith due to doctor stoppage earlier this year.
Before the fight Crute had won five of his last six fights and is currently ranked 13th within the UFC's light heavyweight fighters.
The bout between Crute and Hill was originally scheduled for early October, but has now been pushed back to December 4.
Hill also heads into the bout on the back of a round one loss to Paul Craig in June this year where he was defeated for the first time in his professional career after dislocating his elbow.
The headline event for the UFC Fight Night in December will be between Rob Font and Jose Aldo.
