A BENDIGO hairdresser has closed its doors after it was announced as a tier one exposure site on Monday night.

Staff at honeyeater updated their clients via a social media post on Tuesday afternoon, apologising for the inconvienience.
"Sadly, we've been advised by the DHHS that honeyeater. has been listed as a Tier 1 Covid-19 exposure site," the post read.
"We're closed until further notice. We have notified all relevant clients and we're deeply sorry for the inconvenience."
The post said all staff had "been affected" and had now been tested and are now isolating and appreciated the support they had received.
"Thank you to so many people for the messages and phone calls of support, it is very much appreciated."

TWO hairdressing salons in central Bendigo, as well as a dance school and an early learning centre, have been named COVID-19 exposure sites, together with a primary school in New Gisborne.
- In Bendigo, Honeyeater, located at 96 Pall Mall is a tier one exposure site on Tuesday October 5, between 10:00am - 8:30pm, as well as on Wednesday, October 6, between 9:00am - 7:30pm, and on Thursday, October 7, from 10:30am - 4:00pm
- Lush Barber, located at 238 Hargreaves Street, Bendigo is a tier one exposure site on Wednesday, October 6, between 9:00am - 6:30pm.
- Lush Barber is also a tier one exposure site on Thursday, October 7 between 9am-6:30pm, from Case attended venue11/10/2021 9:28pm.
- Lush Barber is also a tier one exposure site on Friday, October 8, between 9:00am - 11:00am.
- The LM Dance School, located at 1/94 Nolan Street Bendigo is a tier one exposure site on Wednesday, October 6, between 5:20pm - 6:45pm.
- In Maiden Gully, Shine Bright Maiden Gully Early Years Hub, located at 9 Westbury Boulevard, is a tier one exposure site on Wednesday, October 6, between 9:00am - 12:55pm, and again on Friday, October 8, between 9:00am - 4:00pm.
- In New Gisborne, Holy Cross Catholic Primary School, located at 158 Hamilton Road, New Gisborne is a tier one exposure site on Tuesday, October 5, between 8:30am - 3:30pm, and again on Wednesday, October 6, between 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Anyone who has attended any of these tier one exposure sites must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from exposure.
Shine Bright EYM had earlier confirmed the closure of its Maiden Gully early years hub after a COVID-19 positive case attended last week.
In a statement on its website, the organisation said a child attended the site on Friday, October 8.
"Dear Shine Bright Families and Staff, a child who attended the Shine Bright Maiden Gully Early Years Hub has tested positive for COVID-19, we have closed the hub and are awaiting further advice from DHHS," the statement said.
The child was at the facility between 9.15am and noon that day.
"We encourage families and staff who attended the hub to go and get tested immediately and isolate," the statement continued
"Further advice to follow."
It comes as Greater Bendigo recorded six new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
