The centre has been given a $3,400 grant from the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund which will be used to improve track and field equipment.
Little Athletics Bendigo president Nick Storey said the funding would be used to help the centre grow during what had been challenging times.
"As a not-for-profit organisation, our centre depends on grants and fundraising to improve and maintain our facilities and equipment," Storey said.
"The Coles grant will help us to bring our junior high jump bags to a new and safe condition for use by Little Athletics and the many school groups who use our facility."
Little Athletics Bendigo aims to provide girls and boys aged 5-15 with the opportunity to participate in track and field events within a fun, safe and family friendly environment.
"We welcome everyone to come along and try athletics as we're open to athletes of all skill levels and abilities," Storey said.
Sessions are held on Friday evenings and Saturday morning from Spring through to Autumn and registrations are now currently open.
An official start date is yet to be released - pending further government updates - but the plan is to have the season underway by early November.
