VICTORIA has broken its record for COVID-19 testing by more than 6,000 tests after more than 77,000 people were tested overnight.
Minister for Child Protection, Disability, Ageing and Carers Luke Donnellan said the state vaccination hubs delivered 36,672 vaccines yesterday.
"Many more thousands were administered by GPs and community pharmacies," he said.
There are currently 564 people are hospitalised with the virus, 115 are in intensive care and of those 74 are on ventilators.
Of those hospitalised, 66 per cent were unvaccinated, 27 per cent were partially vaccinated and seven per cent were fully vaccinated.

VICTORIA has recorded an extra 1638 cases in the 24 hours to midnight as well as two deaths.
A total of 15,074 people across the state currently have COVID-19.
It has also administered 36,672 vaccine doses and processed 77,238 tests, the Department of Health says.
The figures were amassed on the same day that Bendigo recorded three new cases and the city's hospital outlined its plans to take a key leadership role in the region's preparations for an expected surge in cases after lockdowns lift.
"We have a COVID ward designated, currently we have some patients already in that ward," chief executive Peter Faulkner said as he briefed reporters on the role Bendigo Health will take as key "streaming hospital".
He said the best way to help the health system cope with the expected case surge at the end of the year was to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
More than 80 per cent of Australians aged 16 and over have now had one vaccine dose and rates are climbing fast for those who are 12 to 15 years old, new federal government figures show.
COVID-19 taskforce commander Lieutenant-General John Frewen warned there is still a "big challenge" getting unvaccinated people to come forward.
"Increasingly we will start to move into groups of people who have been either hesitant or, for whatever reason, complacent. They're the ones that we really need to work on from here on in," he said.
