Terry White Chemist pharmacist Claire Yuan said in the past week the chemist had administered over 500 Moderna doses.
"We have been administering Moderna and it's been going really good so far," she said.
Ms Yuan said it was a good option for the over 60s in the community who were nervous about receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
"Moderna is here and is a good alternative now," she said.
The COVID-19 Moderna vaccine is the latest vaccine to be added to the vaccine rollout.
The second dose of the Moderna vaccine is due to be administered four weeks after the first.
One resident took advantage of the supply on Tuesday and said after doing some research, Moderna was a good option for him.
"It's a great thing to be able to get the vaccine at the pharmacy and it helps that it was quick and easy," he said.
Other news:
"I didn't have to line up forever and it was very convenient for me."
Bendigo Health chairman Bob Cameron said it was great to see another vaccine added to the rollout.
"We have chemists, GPs, and vaccination hub all trying to get people vaccinated," he said.
"We want to get as many people vaccinated as possible and we have chemists with Moderna, GPs with Pfizer, and the vaccination hub, everybody wants to get people vaccinated and that is the success.
"People can go locally in central Victoria to a chemist will mean that we will get that vaccination rate much higher."
