Bendigo's Dan Murphy's expects to reopen shortly after shutting for a deep clean.
Someone who was inside the store for five minutes has tested positive for COVID-19.
"Whilst we've been advised the risk to customers and team members is low, we have carried out a detailed deep clean," a sign at the store reads.
The person with COVID-19 was inside the store between 5.15pm and 5.20pm on Wednesday.

Kangaroo Flat's Lansell Square is the latest centre to be identified as an exposure site.
Lansell Square (267 High Street, Kangaroo Flat) is a tier two site between 7:45am - 4:31pm on Sunday, October 3.
Anyone who has visited this location during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result. Continue to monitor for symptoms, get tested again if symptoms appear.
Tuesday, 4pm
ANOTHER coronavirus exposure site has been listed at Mount Macedon.
The Mount Macedon Trading Post, General Store, Cafe & Post Office (686 Mount Macedon Road) is a tier one site between 9.42am and 11.15am on September 30.
Anyone who visited the site during those times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

A NEW tier one exposure site has been listed in the Macedon Ranges.
A COVID-positive person visited Mr Cafe Macedon (23 Victoria Street, Macedon) between 8.45am and 10.15am on September 29.
Anyone who visited the cafe during those times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

NEW tier 1 venues in regional Victoria have been added to the state's list of COVID-19 exposure sites overnight.
The Hanging Rock Cafe at 139 South Rock Road, Woodend has been identified as a tier 1 site between 10:30am and 1:30pm on October 1.

Function Fitness Plus in New Gisborne has also been identified as a tier 1 site between 7.30am-9am on both Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1.
It comes as several bus services on Christian Bus Lines Bendigo have been listed as tier 2 exposure sites between September 24 and October 2.
Some services will be cancelled on multiple Bendigo bus routes over the coming days after a number of drivers isolate to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Victorian health authorities look likely to end the listing of tier two exposure sites.
Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said the idea was to concentrate resources on tier one sites.
He said authorities were still contacting every positive case and their household and close contacts were being quarantined appropriately.
