MITIAMO will have both a new senior coach and president in place when it returns to the field in the Loddon Valley Football-Netball League next year.
Co-coaches Andy Grant and Tyrone Downie have both stood down, while president Rob Clohesy has handed the reins over to Mick Draper.
Grant and Downie co-coached the Superoos to the flag in 2019 as well as to this year's "minor" premiership after the season was called off last week.
Non-playing coach Grant also led the Superoos to the 2018 grand final against Newbridge - a 44-point loss - before sharing the role with gun forward Downie from 2019.
"I said to the club at the start of the year this will be it as far as coaching," Grant said on Wednesday.
"With work, kids and family it's just too hard to put in the time going forward to coach the way I want to and that would be unfair on the playing group and the club.
"Footy has been my life for such a long time and now it's time for someone else to have a go."
Grant steps away from the co-coaching role confident the Superoos will be well-placed to build on their recent success.
"I really want to see the club continue to succeed and a lot of the playing list has already re-committed again," Grant said.
"They will be in good stead, but just need to find that new person to take them to the next level."
Clohesy is stepping down as Superoos' president following four years at the helm, including the past two navigating the club through the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
Both the Superoos' senior football and A grade netball teams earned the "minor premier" tag for finishing on top of the ladder this year after both won flags in 2019.
Across 2019 and 2021 - there was no season played in 2020 due to COVID - the Superoos' senior football and A Grade netball teams have a combined 56-6 record.
"I'm super proud of what the club has achieved. To go through what we did last year with the cancelled season and then to come back the way we did this year has been a fantastic effort," Clohesy said.
"It's obviously disappointing that we didn't get the chance to win the flag outright in a grand final, but we'll still go down for the season as the minor premier, which is a nice recogntion.
"Our whole playing group has been terriffic."
