Department of Health data released on Monday showed Victoria recorded 473 new coronavirus cases overnight.
Of the new local cases, 202 are linked to known cases and outbreaks.
It takes the state's active case tally to 3,507.
Just under 50,000 test results were received and another 30,032 vaccines were administered.

The new figures come as COVID-19 continues to show greater signs of spreading into into the regions.
There were more than a dozen cases recorded in the regions over the weekend, including a confirmed case in Daylesford along with multiple exposure sites.
Woodend Railway Station is currently listed as a Tier 2 site meaning if you have been there during the exposure times, you are required to get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.
The times include, September 8 from 4pm-4.30pm, September 9 from 5am-5.30am and 3pm-3.30pm.
