Maryborough Police are investigating a vehicle that evaded officers on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle - a black Ford Territory - failed to stop when signaled on Happy Tommy Track, Bownevale, about nine kilometres north of Maryborough.
Lead investigator Senior Constable Nicholas Dericki said the patrolling police unit attempted to intercept the black Ford Territory at 8.21pm.
"The car failed to stop and drove away dangerously at high speed, endangering community safety," he said.
"A community risk assessment resulted in the termination of intercept. We now need public information to assist in solving the matter. Someone will know the driver and where the car is."
