Of the new local cases, 98 have so far been linked to known cases and outbreaks.
Victoria had 42,429 test results on Tuesday as well as 36,716 vaccinations being administered.
The number of active coronavirus cases now stands at 1,920.
Premier Daniel Andrews said no decision was made on whether regional Victoria would see eased restrictions this weekend.
Mr Andrews said the regions were on track to "some" easing but said circumstances could change.
He said there would be limitations and they would be modest.
On Tuesday afternoon, Bendigo Health confirmed an increase in Pfizer doses and appointments for its COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic and regional sub hubs over the next fortnight.
Mollison Street will open an additional 4000 first dose Pfizer appointments between September 7 to September 19 for eligible Loddon Mallee residents.
Mildura and Echuca vaccination sub hubs will now administer 1200 Pfizer doses per week until September 19.
Vaccination clinics in Castlemaine, Swan Hill and Kyneton will offer 300 doses per week until September 19.
"We know some people might have been waiting a long time to access a COVID-19 vaccine - now is your chance," Bendigo Health chair Bob Cameron said.
