Member for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan said it didn't matter who is leading the Liberal Party, she said the change didn't affect Bendigo residents.
"It doesn't matter who has led the Liberal Party over the last six and half years, they have been largely irrelevant to the activity going on in Bendigo," she said.
"We have got a big building program in Bendigo, the law courts, new rehab centre, GovHub, train stations and we have a lot going on in Bendigo and the Liberal Party have pretty much been irreverent to all of that activity and I would expect that would remain so and it doesn't matter who will the Liberal Party."
Member for Bendigo West Marree Edwards said it change in leadership was a matter for the Liberal Party.
"We're fighting this pandemic - they're fighting each other," she said.
"More importantly I'd like to add that it is disappointing that the Commonwealth appears to be pursuing a national plan to vaccinate NSW - at the expense of all other Australians.
"The Federal Government promised a proportionate roll out of vaccine doses, and that is not what they're delivering... Hundreds of thousands of doses have gone to NSW that were supposed to go to elsewhere."

Former Victorian Opposition Leader Matthew Guy has returned to the leadership of the Liberal Party - defeating Michael O'Brien after being voted in unopposed.
Mr Guy took the party leadership after Mr O'Brien decided not to contest the ballot after a successful spill motion this morning - the second challenge to his leadership in six months.
MPs voted 20 to 11 for a leadership spill at a party room meeting on Tuesday morning.
Speaking to media Tuesday morning, Mr Guy thanked Mr O'Brien for his leadership over the past three years.
"I want to put on record how deeply respectful and appreciative I am of Michael and Cindy for the leadership of the parliamentary Liberal Party for nearly three years," he said.
"A lot of you will comment, give us a self appraisal, I have had plenty of them and I'm sure I'll get more, but that is the hardest job in politics, believe me when I say it.
"It's very difficult to get airtime as a state opposition during COVID period, ask any Opposition Leader around Australia. I thank them and I mean that deeply and sincerely."
Member for Caulfield David Southwick was also elected as Mr Guy's deputy.
The returned leader arrived at the party room meeting flanked by key supporters including MPs Tim Smith, James Newbury, Bev McArthur, Richard Riordan and Bill Tilley.
The 47-year-old former opposition leader and member for Bulleen resigned after a disastrous loss in the 2018 state election, which saw the party shed 10 of its 37 seats in the lower house.
Mr O'Brien said he was thankful to serve time as the Victorian Liberal Leader.
"(I will) get behind the new leadership team of Matthew Guy and David Southwick, because we have got a job to do and a state to save," he said.

"At a personal level, can I thank... First of all, can I thank the people of Victoria. In my nearly three years as Opposition Leader, I've had an opportunity to be in your living rooms, in your radios, in your newspapers."
"It has been such a privilege to be able to have that conversation with Victorians because I love this state. I love this state. I love the people in it. And to be able to do that for nearly three years, to walk into any shop in any town and have a chat and talk about the issues that matter to Victorians.
"It's just been... It's been so important and it's been such a privilege. So thank you so the people of Victoria."
