Bendigo sent 10 staff late last week, both in the nursing and admin sectors, to help test locals at the Shepparton Greyhound and Trotting Track after COVID-19 cases began to rise in the area on Friday.
A Bendigo Health spokesperson commended the staff for their efforts.
"We thank our Rapid Response Testing Team who are assisting their colleagues in Shepparton," they said.
"This team has provided testing assistance for numerous outbreaks during the pandemic, often away from home.
"Bendigo Health continues to work with and support other health services in our response to COVID-19."

They said staff were working daily and testing at least 500 people per day.
Goulburn Valley Health chief executive Matt Sharp thanked Bendigo and others for their assistance during this difficult time.
"We're working as hard as we can and unfortunately one of the challenges we've had to deal with is that a high number of our staff, like many other people in Shepparton, have close associations with the schools that have now been names exposure sites," he said.
"We have received support from addition testing teams from Bendigo Health, which is terrific, as well as some from the Rapid Response team from the Department of Health.
"We're doing our best to supplement our local resources amongst our additional assistance."
On Tuesday, 44 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Shepparton.
